Lodge’s generosity goes a long way

Bolivia Lodge lent a helping hand to Meals on Wheels recently.

This follows the lodge’s visit to Meals on Wheels as part of their 67 Minutes for Mandela in July, where they identified that the centre’s volunteers needed protective clothing and proper uniforms. “We saw the need to provide proper clothing to the volunteers while they prepare meals. We got them specially printed aprons, protective caps, takkies and gloves as a token of appreciation for the amazing work they do every day,” Sonja Randall, Bolivia Lodge’s marketing manager said. Hans le Grange, Meals on Wheels’ fundraiser thanked Bolivia Lodge for their generosity and for the donation. “We appreciate the uniforms and the protective caps and gloves. The volunteers will also feel safe when they have proper uniform and shoes in the kitchen,” he said.
