Stellar efforts receive a nod

The Pietersburg Road Runners athletics club recently held their annual prize-giving ceremony to award the athletes for the year’s hard work and achievements.

Trophy winners were: Erika Bantjes, Phuti Mohale, Henco Coetser, Colinda Potgieter, Rufus Photo, Johan van der Merwe, Elize Klopper, Martinique Potgieter, Elize Beukes, Hannelie Viviers, Betty Mashitisho and Hennie Coetser.

The club also elected a new committee for 2014:

• Werner Potgieter – clubhouse manager.

• Anda-Lucia Jordaan – marketing and public relations.

• Johan van der Merwe – treasurer.

• Johanna Mshishi – additional member.

• Erika Bantjes – additional member.

• Martie Coetser – secretary.

• Phuti Mohale – additional member.

• Pierre Bantjes – chairperson.
