POLOKWANE – In commemoration of World Cancer Day last Tuesday, Cansa Polokwane administered free Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) tests to all the male personnel of Limpopo Toyota.
According to Cansa, the PSA test is the most valuable tool available in the diagnosis of early stage prostate cancer.
“We make a small prick on the finger and use a drop of blood to test for cancer,” said Ria du Plessis, community mobiliser at Cansa Polokwane.
Bergh van Rooyen, Automark manager at Limpopo Toyota said he was happy Cansa tested the men at their work place.
“We are getting older and we need to know about our health,” he said.
