POLOKWANE – Volkswagen Polokwane joined hands with learners from Taxila Secondary School to embark on a charity campaign, the beneficiaries of which were the children of Samaritan Children’s Home in the city.
Initially, Volkswagen Polokwane was one of various companies that the learners approached for assistance in their charity campaign.
However, Volkswagen Polokwane sales manager, Wallace Goosen, was so impressed with the campaign that he decided to support it wholeheartedly.
The company donated much-needed grocery items to the campaign and following the delivery of these items by learners to the home, Volkswagen Polokwane also treated the learners with a surprise braai.
“When the learners from Taxila Secondary School approached us the first time to contribute to their charity campaign for Samaritan Children’s Home, we as a Volkswagen dealership decided to come on board completely, and not just donate a few items.
“Volkswagen Polokwane wants to challenge other motor dealerships in this city to also get involved with charity work such as this.
“This will not be the last time that Volkswagen Polokwane contributes towards charity.
“We want to set the benchmark for other motor dealerships and companies to follow our lead,” Goosen said.
