BJATLADI High School's u/14 soccer team was crowned the champions of the provincial leg of the McDonald's u/14 Schools League that was played at Noorderland High School recently.
BJATLADI High School’s u/14 soccer team was crowned the champions of the provincial leg of the McDonald’s u/14 Schools League that was played at Noorderland High School recently.
A series of excellent plays and magnificent teamwork ensured the players from Turfloop, led by coach Mankwe Sehoana, secured a place in the 2014 McDonald’s u/14 Schools League finals, which will be played in Gauteng in October.
“We believe that a healthy mind resides inside a healthy body.
“Learners who take part in sport have a better chance of doing well in class because they are healthier through playing sport,” McDonald’s South Africa corporate affairs director, Sechaba Motsieloa, said.
The McDonald’s u/14 Schools League attracts more than 54 400 children annually across the country and provides the opportunity for future football stars to be scouted, making players even more determined to shine on the field.
