Meropa donates snacks, dessert for wedding

POLOKWANE – Headline Leisure Management (HLM) ensured guests at Gert and Bernadine du Preez’s wedding had enough snacks to enjoy between the church ceremony and reception at Bolivia Lodge on Saturday.
The couple’s special day was organised by Review.
Head chef, Gabriel Harkin from HLM and his personnel prepared snacks for about 100 guests, along with a variety of desserts.
HLM is an independent company that does catering for Meropa Casino and Entertainment World, which includes Harvest Restaurant and the Jembe Tavern.
Review approached Victor Munapeyi, HLM general manager a few days before the wedding for a sponsorship and he immediately agreed to prepare the snacks and desserts.
“It is important to give back to your community and when I heard about Bernadine’s story, it just felt right to help. We wanted to make her day special and prepared a variety of snacks to cater for all her guests even those who are vegetarian. We also made two kinds of desserts.
“It was an honour to be part of the wedding and we wish Gert and Bernadine all the best. May their marriage be richly blessed.”
