Nina’s gift helps her see your future

Most of us wonder what the future has in store for us, while others consult people and ask them what their futures hold for them.

POLOKWANE – Most of us wonder what the future has in store for us, while others consult people and ask them what their futures hold for them.

The people that who consulted for such and who can tell your future just by looking at you are called fortunetellers.

Review had the opportunity to speak to Nina Lopez, a fortuneteller who made a stop in the city recently. Nina and her husband travel across the country in their caravan. They stop in each town or city for about a week or two before they move on.

“I cannot tell my client what they do not show me. If they are not meant to know their future, it will not show in their palm or aura,” says Nina.

She says she was born with this “gift” and that it runs in her family. Her mother also has the gift and so does one of her children, she says.

“I did not study to become a fortuneteller. I was born with the gift and I treasure it and use it well,” she says.

Nina reads palms, as well as characters, auras, vibrations and the circle of life.

She can tell you about your past, your present, your future, marriage plans, business opportunities, your love life as well as your stress triggers.

All this will cost you R200, while a palm reading alone costs R100.

For Nina, it is somewhat therapeutic to read people’s fortunes and to give them clarity about what is going to happen. “It is comforting to reassure someone who is worried about something in their future,” she says.

Nina says she never asks her clients any questions, that way they will know that what she tells them is the truth. “I tell them what I see, not what I hear. I tell the truth,” she says.

Nina says she has been doing this for about 45 years now and enjoys travelling from town to town.

She can be found in the city near Mall of the North.
