SESHEGO – THE Seshego police are searching for two men in connection with the alleged murder of a 23-year-old man on Sunday.
According to WO Mothemane Malefo, the incident happened at around 21:00 in extension 106 near Luthuli Park.
He said witnesses told the police that the deceased was attacked by two men, one was suspected to be a foreign national and the other a resident of Disteneng.
Malefo said the men attacked the victim with at least one panga.
“Witnesses called the police when they saw the incident. By the time police officials arrived at the scene, they found the deceased in a pool of blood. Unfortunately he died at the scene due to his serious injuries,” he said.
Malefo said witnesses told police that the two men in question knew the victim and that some sort of feud brew between them. He said witnesses saw the three argue over the festive season but, at the time, the matter was resolved without involving the police.
He appealed to all eyewitnesses and residents who might have information that could lead to the arrest of the two men to contact the investigating officer, Maj Matsobane Seabi at 082 3199 509.
