LIMPOPO – A 70-year-old Musina pastor was rescued from an angry crowd by the police after he allegedly confessed on the Gauteng Church’s TV channel that he was involved in witchcraft.

Limpopo police spokesperson, Col Ronél Otto, said the pastor, his wife and daughter were escorted to a place of safety by the public order police as community members wanted to kill them. “In the process of rescuing them, two police vans were pelted with stones and three police officials were injured. No arrests have been made but a case of incitement and public violence have been opened against the stone throwers,” Otto said.
