KFC showers customers with a range of awesome prizes
KFC Polokwane recently held their second prize-giving of the Join The Proteas Family in-store competition that was run from February 1 to March 31.
POLOKWANE – KFC Polokwane recently held their second prize-giving of the Join The Proteas Family in-store competition that was run from February 1 to March 31.
Customers had to spend R100 or more at any KFC store, write their names and phone numbers on their till slips and place them in the entry box provided in the participating store. There were 40 prizes to be won.
Entrants stood a chance to win one of the 40 items of cricket memorabilia, which were as follows: 10 cricket caps, 10 wide brim cricket hats, 10 cricket supporter shirts and 10 official Adidas Proteas jerseys.
KFC stores and team members also stood a chance to win the Jalie Trading internal competition. The store that entered the most entries won a team braai. This competition was won by KFC in Market Street.
Palma Makwiting, won the individual team member competition after entering the most amount of customer entries. Makwiting went home with a cell phone and a certificate in reward of her hard work. She said she was grateful and very delighted to be announced as the winner and she would continue working hard to stand a chance of winning more KFC internal store competitions.
Cheray van Blerk, KFC Polokwane marketing manager, said the competition was aimed at giving back to the customers and also to rally behind the national cricket team, the Proteas, when it was representing the country in the Cricket World Cup.
The competition formed part of the KFC Join the Proteas Family campaign that gave cricket fans and KFC customers an opportunity to win a two week all-expenses paid trip to Australia for themselves and three family members, to watch the Proteas in action.
The Join the Proteas in-store competition winners were invited to participating KFC stores to receive their prizes, which included a KFC 21-piece bucket to share with their friends and family.
