There was a buzz of excitement in the air at the Bicycle Company Polokwane (TBC) last Wednesday when the TBC Bestmed Cycling Club was launched.
With South African Olympic walker Marc Mundell, who holds the African record for the
50 km walk, as master of ceremonies, the evening was marked by an atmosphere of upbeat positivity.
The club also made use of this opportunity to show off their brand new kit, specially designed to suit all racing needs.
TBC Bestmed Cycling Club is a community driven cycling club that is family orientated with a caring attitude.
Backed by Bestmed Medical Aid and Seesa Professional Legal Support Services, their focus is mainly on cycling and they cater for the beginner right through to the serious cyclist.
Members of this club will receive benefits to include a 5% discount in all The Bicycle Company retail stores, Saturday club rides with support vehicle and marshals, club hospitality discounts for the Argus and 94.7 races as well as other selected races, discount on entries for selected races, training camps for road and mountain bike cycling, beginners and novice clinics, monthly social events with presentations on technical, nutrition, training and health, and a monthly printed or digital copy of Ride Magazine.
