Interruption of water supply
The cut offs will take place from 18:00 on Friday, June 5 to Monday, June 8 at 18:00 and from 18:00 on Friday, June 13 to Monday, June 15 at 18:00.
MOKOPANE – THE consumers of Mahwelereng should fill up as many bottles and buckets with water for the following two weekends as there is going to be an interruption of the water supply by the Mogalakwena Municipality, to clean the Mahwelereng reservoirs.
The cut offs will take place from 18:00 on Friday, June 5 to Monday, June 8 at 18:00 and from 18:00 on Friday, June 13 to Monday, June 15 at 18:00.
The following areas will be affected:
• Mahwelereng Zone A.
• Mahwelereng Zone B.
• Phola Park.
• Hospital View (Unit C).
“No guarantee can be given that the water will remain disconnected for the whole period, and you are therefore informed to consider all connections as on at all times. Consumers are advised to keep all water taps closed to avoid unnecessary disputes on bills,” stated Phuledi Selepe, acting municipal manager.
