MGIDI CASE: Postponed to August
Patrick Sekhu, Samuel Matjila and Desmond Machaba all well known taxi-owners appeared before the Mokopane magistrate’s court on Tuesday morning for the murder of Charles Mgidi.
MOKOPANE – Patrick Sekhu, Samuel Matjila and Desmond Machaba all well known taxi-owners appeared before the Mokopane magistrate’s court on Tuesday morning for the murder of Charles Mgidi.
Mgidi, a member of the MRA was shot and killed on April 4 in front of the Caltex garage in Nelson Mandela Drive by the three suspects.
The three suspects appeared before chief magistrate, André van der Kooi, with a new defense attorney.
State prosecutor asked for a postponement for further investigation. The case was postponed to August 19, the three suspects remain in custody.
