According to municipal spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene the municipality is providing temporary relief in Madiba Park through backup generators. The areas receives power through underground cables connected to mini-substations, so we have connected about three (3) generators to the mini-substations says Chuene.
“Our technicians are busy trying to find the fault on the cable, where after they will isolate for repairs, a process which might go into tomorrow,” says the spokesperson.
