UPDATE: Power outage in Extension 73 and Madiba Park

According to municipal spokeperson, Tidimalo Chuene, technicians have managed to trace the cable fault from the Seshego Hospital substation that caused the power outage in Polokwane Extension 73 and Madiba Park this morning.

POLOKWANE – According to municipal spokeperson, Tidimalo Chuene, technicians have managed to trace the cable fault from the Seshego Hospital substation that caused the power outage in Polokwane Extension 73 and Madiba Park this morning.

Due to the extensive damage and amount of repairs to bedone on the cable line, the technicians will in the next two hours or so, connect Extension 73 residents to the Alpha substation as temporary measure to allow repairs to be done on the Seshego Hospital substation cable line says Chuene.

Chuene says that Madiba Park residents will continue receiving power through back-up generators.
