Resident is now R20 million richer

A R21 PowerBall ticket has changed the life of a Polokwane resident for the better

A R21 PowerBall ticket brought on July 24 has changed the life of a Polokwane resident for the better.

The resident, whose name cannot be disclosed for confidential lottery player protection reasons, walked away R20 million richer.

But this is not the first time the lottery player won, previously winning R10 000.

The winner said they planned to to buy a large house for the comfort and security of their family and further invest in property, as well as start their own business in Polokwane.

This was their ‘One Thing’.

Not only is the winner lucky, but also generous, as they will also donate a lump sum to disabled people in the community.

Since launching on 1 June, Ithuba has made nine millionaires, of which two were mega millionaires of R25 million and R24 million respectively. All winners have 365 days to claim before their tickets expire. Prizes up to R2 000 can be claimed at any retailer, whereas prizes between R2 000 and R50 000 need to be redeemed at the post office. Prizes valued at over R50 000 are claimed at any of the Ithuba regional offices.
