‘Lostandfoundlittlefriends Polokwane’ part of CPF circle

POLOKWANE – Community Policing Forum (CPF) of the Northern Upper Town (NUT) wants to introduce one of their sector friends Lostandfoundlittlefriends Polokwane.

Adele Heinlein, an animal lover, started this non-profit organisation after she had to walk the streets and knocked on doors to get lost beloved pets home safely.

With the help of Timene Kartis-Watt she established a well-oiled organisation which is funded out of Adele’s own pocket. To assist in veterinary costs Adele relies on fundraising.

Her Lostandfoundlittlefriends Facebook page where the community can post information on lost or found dogs and cats is very popular.

This convenient central point for communication is supported by the dog grooming salons and local veterinaries as well as the Polokwane community.

The duo’s efforts and passion for their work continue to grow and today Lostandfoundlittlefriends Polokwane also assists in animal rescues and finding new homes for animals when dog and cat owners are relocated.

“NUT (Sector 5) is proud to add Lostandfoundlittlefriends to our CPF circle of friends,” said Karen Botha, spokesperson for NUT and marketing manager for Savannah Mall.

The CPF of the Northern Upper Town (NUT) again emphasises the importance of joining a CPF in the city and becoming part of these local crime fighting groups which aim to make communities safer for all.
