Road closures due to construction
Motorists and members of the public are hereby notified that Bodenstein and Voortrekker streets will temporarily be closed due to construction work required for the completion of the Polokwane High Court.
POLOKWANE – Motorists and members of the public are hereby notified that Bodenstein and Voortrekker streets will temporarily be closed to all traffic due to construction work required for the completion of the Polokwane High Court.
The streets will be closed from 2 October (tomorrow) until 16 December 2015. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes.
Access permission will be limited to residents and businesses employees only
“Access will be managed by security at designated sign posted locations,” says municipal spokesperson, Tidimalo Chuene.
Construction activities will include
According to Chuene, the construction activities will include upgrading of storm water systems, relocation of existing services and widening of existing street lanes and surfacing.
Work will be carried out between 07:00-17:00 Mondays to Fridays.
“We apologize in advance for the inconvenience and request that all construction road signs be adhered to,” concludes Chuene.
