Castle Lite Catch 22 Round Table held a fishing competition on Saturday.
POLOKWANE – Castle Lite Catch 22 Round Table held a fishing competition on 10 October.
Friends and families brought along their fishing rods and fishing spirit to catch as many fishes as possible. According to Werner Marais, organiser of the event, the aim of the competition was to raise funds for charity organisations. “I’m happy with the outcome. Tickets were R200 per person and we received immense support from the community,” Marais added.
He thanked all the participants and the following sponsors: Core Struc, Alpha Sand, Twizza, Big Five Fire Lighters, South African Breweries, Qualito, and Engen Marshall Street.
The winners in each category received prizes ranging between coolerboxes, cooler bags, camping chairs, gazebos, skottel braai’s, Twizza cooldrinks, and alcohol.
