Big Sale at APD Clothing Shop a success, says Christa van der Walt
"It is a national project - APD branches get clothes from well known franchise stores," explains Van der Walt
POLOKWANE – Saturday was the second big sale at the APD Clothing Shop where residents could could buy quality clothes for cheap.
“It is a national project,” says Christa van der Walt, director of the Association for Persons with Disability (APD), Limpopo Province. “All the APD branches in the country get clothes from well known franchise stores. If one of the shops are in say for instance, Tzaneen, then we have institutions there who will then take it and sell it. The money we raise at the branch are then used to buy new things for the branch or to do upgrades and maintenance.”
Christa says that once again the day was a success and they made more or less R8 000 more than the previous time.
