Finest wine, whiskey at Makro tasting event

Laughter, merriment and high spirits last Wednesday set the tone for Makro’s Wine and Whiskey Tasting, a perfect way to ring in the festive season.
Wholesale and retail customers were invited to taste test fine wines, whiskeys, brandies, beers and wine coolers available at Makro Polokwane. Mamorwadi Mokaba, Marketing Manager for Makro Polokwane, says the aim of the event was to introduce their Christmas liquor catalogue.
“Customers can find the catalogue on our website www.makro.co.za and hard copies will be available in-store. The South African summer holiday season calls for festive fun and that is what we provide,” she says.
Makro’s Liquor Store offers great and creatively packaged corporate gifting as well as gifts for family or friends.
“The catalogue is also a great reference when you have to decide what gifts to give those special people in your life,” Mokaba explained.
Mokaba says the Makro Polokwane team worked very hard to make this Wine and Whiskey Tasting as much of a success as their previous premium liquor tasting function.
Makro again made use of this event to put their in-house whiskeys, the James King collection, in the spotlight. Everybody who tasted its sophisticated blend had to agree that the James King whiskeys were top of the range.
