DA donates stationery to Grade 7 learners

Grade 7 learners from Good Hope Primary School in Westenburg received new mathematical sets from the Democratic Alliance (DA) on Friday.
The sets, containing among others a spring bow compass and several protractors, were handed to Deputy Principal Thabiso Molepo by DA Provincial Leader Jacques Smalle. “Good Hope Primary School has always been close to my heart. I adopted the school in 2009 and the DA has made various contributions to the school since then. Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders and we only want the best for them,” Smalle said.
He added that the mathematical sets will hopefully help the learners when they enrol in Grade 8 next year. “Maths and science are some of the difficult subjects. Some of them don’t have money to buy a maths set and this donation will hopefully take that stress away so that learners can concentrate on the subject and excel,” Smalle said.
