Members of the Black Management Forum’s (BMF) Polokwane Branch presented four learners of Luthuli Park Combined School with new school uniforms on Tuesday.
Thabitha Mokgotho, an educator at the school said the learners have been doing exceptionally well over the past years and are keen participants in school activities. “They represented the school in the Childline Protection competition last year and did well,” Mokgotho said.
Forum Chairperson Yvonne Mathabatha said with the gesture they wanted to encourage more learners to do well in their school activities. “This was the effort of the members of forum who contributed voluntarily and we are happy to reach out to these learners,” Mathabatha said.
Principal of the School, Moloto Rasebotje thanked BMF for reaching out to the learners at the school. “In the past years the school has been in the news for negative reasons. We are happy that BMF saw something good in us and the gesture will not only always remind learners of the forum but motivate them as well,” Rasebotje said.
