Women aged 35 and older now stand a chance to win a complete make-over and a host of other prizes, including a weekend away for two in a unique competition that will change perceptions of age and beauty.
Mall of the North and Honey Fashion Accessories on Monday launched the Make Me Look Beautiful make-over competition with Polokwane Observer as media sponsor.
Women who want to enter this once-in-a-lifetime competition can complete the entry form printed in this week’s Polokwane Observer. Entrants must hand-deliver their entries with a full length photo and the R200 entry fee to mall management at Mall of the North. Each contestant will receive a free bracelet from Honey Fashion Accessories.
The competition closes on 12 February at 17:00 and photos of the contestants will be published in Polokwane Observer on 15 and 25 February. The public will vote for their favourite contestants and the top ten finalists will each receive a total hair make-over by Salon Deo Volente as well as nails by Sorbet Mall of the North. Voting closes on 26 February at 14:00 and multiple votes are allowed. Finalists must be available for all make-over appointments and the style workshop.
The top ten finalists will be dressed by Foschini Mall of the North for the final round, with Honey jewellery and accessories to match. Their make-up will be done by the professionals from Mac Cosmetics and Picture Perfect will take care of finalists’ professional photo shoot.
The winner will be chosen by a panel of judges on 3 March at Mall of the North. All finalists must attend this event to be in the running for the first prize. The winner will receive various gifts, including lessons in hair and make-up maintenance, nail maintenance as well as a weekend for two at Mount Sheba, a Forever Resort to the value of
R4 000.
Mall of the North will also sponsor the winner’s outfit and the remaining nine finalists will each receive Mall of the North vouchers.
