Setting the tone for romance on Valentine’s Day, 14 February, at Meropa’s Jembe Tavern is well known DJ Lenny T from Thobela FM. Playing a soul uplifting and romantic selection of love songs and laidback ballades, DJ Lenny T will have guests swaying, tapping their feet and feeling the love at the Valentine’s Affair.
Other DJs in the mix for the Valentine’s Affair soul session are Godfather, Nico Moloisi and Itu. Well-known local R&B, jazz and gospel performer, Calandray will also perform an inspiring acoustic set. Guests are encouraged to get into the spirit of the occasion by adding a twist of red, white and black to their cocktail wear. The scene will be set with a red carpet, rose petals and a welcome drink on arrival.
