MOKOPANE – On 6 February the Gr 7 learners of Mokopane English Combined school went on an excursion to the Nyl River.
Accompanied by their teachers, Joanne Grosel and Bushie Matsito, the learners had a memorable experience. “Seeing different species of birds, reptiles and feeling the cool breeze close to the river, was just so spectacular that we could have stayed the whole week there without missing home,” said one of the learners.
Some learners also proved to be skilled fisherman, but they reluctantly released their catch again – learning about environmental responsibility. Mokopane
