MOKOPANE – September Majadibodu, the Chairperson of the Marulaneng Community Committee pleaded for any assistance to help the homeless family of Marulaneng.

Some residents of Marulaneng, about 60 km outside Mokopane, lost most of their possessions during a violent storm on Monday.

September Majadibodu, the Chairperson of the Marulaneng Community Committee, told Bosveld on Tuesday that the roofs of several houses were blown off during the storm… they lost the only homes they have ever had.

He said in some cases the storm was so bad that even brick walls collapsed, telephone poles toppled and trees were uprooted.

Majadibodu further said residents were sorting through the rubble on Tuesday and carrying out their furniture to dry.

“It is truly sad to see these residents without a roof over their heads.”

Majadibodu can be contacted at 083 514 6645.
