Look out, Europe here come 29 excited young people
A group of 29 Mokopane English Combined School (MECS) high-school learners, accompanied by two teachers are extremely excited as they will be touring through Europe during the April holidays.
MOKOPANE – The fortunate learners will have the opportunity to visit some of the greatest cultural attractions in Italy, the Netherlands, France and Belgium. The duration of this enrichment tour will be 14 days.
Teachers Wendy du Plessis and Marita Thomson are equally excited about the tour.
The big scramble to get all the paperwork in order is complete at long last and the excitement is growing by the day.
The group will be experiencing Europe in the Spring, which is a beautiful time to be there.
For most of the learners (ranging from Gr 8 to Gr 12) it will be a first-time experience.
