[VOICE CLIP] N11 blocked in Mahwelereng area

LIMPOPO – The N11 road from outskirts of Mokopane to Mahwelereng has been blocked,  residents are protesting about the lack of water within their village say Limpopo police.

On Friday morning residents of Polar Park blocked the road with rocks and three 20000 liter water tanks says the Provincial Police Spokesperson, Col Ronel Otto.

“Their grievance is the lack of water within the village.”

Otto advises motorists traveling to Botswana via Groblersbrug to avoid the area and to make use of alternative routes.
