On Friday, 11 March 2016, Maxis Restaurant, Game Centre, Polokwane celebrated it’s 15th birthday.
Over the years, we built a great reputation in Polokwane and customers love to visit us due to our good food and great service.
We serve great breakfasts, lunches and early dinners. We also have a liquor licence for customers who would like to relax with a beer or glass of wine.
The Maxi’s Game Centre management team comprises Shawn Blignaut, co-owner, Tshepo Malatji, Manager, Melana Dube, Manager, Anita Blignaut, co-owner, and Tjale Thema, Manager.
Our food is of the highest quality and our Head Office regularly does site inspections to ensure good operational practices.
We do refresher training with all our staff regularly to ensure that they remain experts in their field and to ensure that we give the best service and food possible.
We have 22 employees. Of the 22, 12 have been here since the restaurant opened. The remainder of them has between 8 and 12 years service.
We (owners Anita & Shawn Blignaut) have a motto in life and that is that our staff should be happy. Happy people enjoy their life’s and work and in our case, they make good food and take good care of our customers.
Customers enjoy the fact that the employees have been here for so long. The waiters have build up personal relationships with the customers and they just know how to take care of each customer.
Tjale Thema, Melana Dube and Tshepo Kgopa, our 3 Managers, have also been here since the shop opened 15 years ago. They started as Waiters and worked themselves up to the rank of Managers over the years.
