POLOKWANE- This weekend (9 and 10 April) has been set aside as the last voting registration weekend before the local government elections. The elections will take place on 3 August as announced by President Jacob Zuma on Wednesday afternoon.
Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) voting stations will be open from 08:00 to 17:00 on Saturday and Sunday and voters are encouraged to register if they have moved provinces or if they are first time voters.
All you need to register is you green ID book.
