The RE/MAX Northland Realty team just received a major boost in the form of energetic and spirited Phillip Schoeman who is now co-owner of this agency.
Well known agent and previous sole owner of the agency, Wilsie Oosthuizen, made the announcement to Polokwane Observer on Tuesday, saying that he was looking forward to the symbiotic relationship that he and Schoeman would now be able to utilise to the company’s advantage. “I am not going anywhere, we are just going to work together to build and indestructible company together. The focus will be on team work,” he said.
Oosthuizen explained that he started RE/MAX Northland Realty in 2012 and the agency has grown from strength to strength.
“The time came to start branching out and I believe Schoeman is the perfect fit. Our personalities complement each other and together we will make a formidable team,” he said.
While Oosthuizen will still be the General Manager and control the administrative functions of the agency, Schoeman will put his weight behind marketing and branding; helping agents to reach their full potential by developing marketing techniques and strategies.
After a widely varied career that included retail management, hospitality and business consulting, Schoeman stepped into the property business last year and within the first year of working for another agency in Polokwane he not only won the National Rookie of the Year Award, but also placed 9th in the Northern Regions, that includes Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo and North West.
“I place my success squarely on the shoulders of my great mentors Charmaine Vermeulen and Manie Oosthuizen, my current partner’s father. I am also blessed with a God given talent for working with people and I have a business brain. For that I can only thank the Lord,” said Schoeman.
Both Schoeman and Oosthuizen are adamant that they both want to build on the existing value system that drives RE/MAX Northland Realty.
“We have a reputation of trust among our clients and the agency is known for the integrity of each agent,” Oosthuizen explained.
“When you take into account that our agents collectively have vast experience in the property market in Limpopo, it is clear that we offer a product and service that not many other agencies can,” added Schoeman.
“Our clients will always be our first priority and we will continue to work as a team to ensure that all our clients, both sellers and buyers, will be satisfied with our final product.”
