The Limpopo Branch of the Businesswomen’s Association of South Africa (Bwasa) will still accept nominations for its annual Regional Business Achiever Awards (RBAA) until 31 May.
The six categories in which awards are to be made are Emerging Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs, Professionals, Corporates, Social Entrepreneurs and Women in Government and the winners will be announced on 27 July, Mmabogoshi Msiza, Chairperson of Bwasa Limpopo informed.
The RBAA recognises outstanding businesswomen for their valuable contribution to the South African economy. “Each year we honour the many remarkable women whose achievements in business have served to elevate the true spirit of Proudly South African within their local economy,” Bwasa said in its invitation calling for nominations.
According to Bwasa the nominees must be women, be a role model and be seen to be actively making a difference within the company or corporation and community. Finally nominees should advocate and be able to be a value ambassador of everything that Bwasa stands for and be a South African resident or citizen whose business is based in the geographic region of the closest Bwasa branch.
Further information may be obtained from Branch Coordinator Elizabeth Modiba at Limpopo@bwasa.co.za or 015 298 8391 and nominations may be made online.
