The Polokwane Show and Music Festival offered entertainment and merriment for every member of the family over the past weekend.
From exhibitors selling clothes, toys and accessories for children, to roaring machines for mechanically minded men and stalls filled with beautiful jewellery; the show ensured that all visitors enjoyed the exhibitions.
A wide range of artists ensured amusement for most tastes in music and comedy, with popular entertainers like Jesse Clegg, Frank Opperman and Beeskraal only some of the world class performers on stage.

The Polokwane Show and Music Festival committee also made sure that local talent was highlighted with Thursday night dedicated to artists from Limpopo and family favourites like Louwrens the Storyteller sharing the stage with well known South African musicians.
For many residents the show would not be the same without the fairground and thrill rides to keep the adrenalin flowing. Young and old enjoyed this popular feature of the event.
The Miss Polokwane Show Queen pageant was one of the highlights and beauties of all ages strutted down the runway to vie for the title. Franca Pretorius was crowned Miss Polokwane Show Queen 2016 and also walked away as overall winner with the most points earned during the pageant. The First Princess was Jane Bacher and the Second Princess Mariska Brown.
In the category two to four years old Skye Taylor walked away with the crown with Kyla Krause as First Princess. Anze Esterhuizen was the winner of the five to seven years old category, with First Princess Misha Abrahamse and Second Princess Zwivhuya Mudau.
Twins Rebo and Rego Malope won second and third place in the category for girls eight to 13 years old, with Phindulokhetwa Thivhengwa wearing the crown, while the beautiful Talitha Botha won the 14 to 16 years old category. Talitha’s First Princess was Marchalize Beukes and her Second Princess was Tamryn Terblanche.
The title of Mrs Polokwane Show Queen 2016 was awarded to Lizaan Abrahamse and the Mr Polokwane Show King 2016 of Polokwane was Anointed Tshivhengwa with Dylan Krause as First Prince and Freddy Tshivhengwa as Second Prince.
