MLFM manager looks to spread his wings
The SABC Xitsonga radio staion, Munghana Lonene FM (MLFM) recently bid farewell to award-winning radio personality, James Shikwambana.

LIMPOPO – Shikwambana has accepted the position as Acting Regional Manager of SABC’s Cape Town office, a position he has been eyeing for a while.
He was a sports presenter for 13 years before moving to the marketing department for two years after which he became station manager. He held the position for four years before he was offered the job in Cape Town.
He says he is looking forward to the challenges his new position holds.
During his time as a radio presenter, he won 22 awards. His colleagues have nothing but praise for the media veteran who say Shikwambana will excel in his new position because he is a hard worker.
Bongi Nkanyane, the station’s former Marketing Manager is now acting station manager while Rose Makhubele takes on the role of Acting Marketing Manager at Munghana Lonene FM.
“Bigjam, as he is affectionately known, is a hard worker who always gives 100%. He inspires and motivates his co-workers and I have no doubt that he will do well no matter where he goes,” said Nkanyane
