UPDATE 8 – Premier Stan Mathabatha visited the Results Operations Centre (ROC) of the Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in Limpopo. He was accompanied on a guided tour of the facility at the new Peter Mokaba Stadium by Nkaro Mateta, IEC Provincial Electoral Officer PEO. Accompanying them were Faith Muthambi, Minister of Communications and Makoma Makhurupetje, MEC for Cooperative Governance, Human Settlements and Traditional Affairs (Coghsta).
The ROC serves as the hub from which operations pertaining to the voting process in Limpopo is being steered and monitored. Late tonight the first results are expected. Now the only thing remaining is to wait…
