UPDATE 2 – The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) in Limpopo is still busy assembling information on challenges marking processes at voting stations across the province.
According to Motsiri Ramafalo of the IEC in the province they have thus far experienced a few challenges but were still collating the information and would be able to provide feedback shortly.
They still had to confirm whether all was in order at the voting station at Mountain View in the Mogalakwena municipal area where roads were reportedly barricaded earlier in the week.
In the meantime stations in the Vuwani area, which has been marred by unrest the past few months, were busy opening, it was learnt.
Back in the city all was proceeding well, according to Polokwane Observer’s team on the ground. At both Florapark Comprehensive Primary and Secondary Schools queues are moving fast. Also at Waterland the queue posed to be short early this morning and the process is seemingly running smoothly. No problems have thus far been reported at the three stations.
