Bona Food serves up fun for funds
Bona fans from all over Polokwane and Limpopo attended the Bona Food for Fun and Fund event recently held at Sun Meropa.
POLOKWANE – It was a morning of fun, food and all things Bona on Saturday at the Bona Food for Fun and Fundraising event.
The event is a skills development programme that enriches lives by showing people how to bake and cook for profit. The event also gave guests skills needed to start their own businesses or to improve on existing ones.
Each guest, upon arrival was given a chefs hat to wear and a file filled with recipes which they would work through throughout the morning. The event was sponsored by Albany, Enterprise and Fatti’s and Moni’s, of which all their respective products would have been used during the demonstrations. Chef Lesley Jacobs and food expert Dorah Sitole were there to give professional tips and to show the guests how to get the best out of the products on show.
Hundred’s of women attended the Bona Food for Fun and Fund event recently held at Bundu Lodge. They learned how to prepare different recipes on an affordable budget and how to use their cooking skills to generate money.
