PEPPS Cross country athletes dominate clans challenge

Cross-country athletes from Mitchell House Preparatory School (MH) and Pietersburg English Medium Primary School (Pemps) took part in the Clans Cross Country Challenge hosted by PEPPS Preparatory School, last Thursday.
Girls and boys in the u.9 to u.13 categories participated and the first three athletes in all categories received medals, while all other participants received a certificate of participation. The u.9 and u.10 ran 1 km while the u.11 to u.13 ran 2 km races. PEPPS did extremely well in the challenge as their boys achieved the first three places in all categories from age u.11 to age u13. PEPPS’ girls did the same in the u.12 and u.13 categories.
Winners in the boys and girls u.9 category were Yoanda Muditambi, MH (4.43) and Kutloane Serogole, PEPPS (5:12), boys and girls u.10 Bolepo Kgomoeswana, PEPPS (4:31) and Nanati Kgopong, MH (5.06), boys and girls u.11 Tshego Seabela, PEPPS (6:35) and Ntahli Nkopane, MH (7:29), boys and girls u.12 Tebogo Teffo, PEPPS, (6:23) and Tshegofatso Moshokwa, PEPPS (7:35), girls and boys u.13 Matalame Mamabolo, PEPPS (6:35) and Tshepo Mehlape, PEPPS (8:02).
