Two in dock for stock theft

Two suspects aged 36 and 40 are expected to appear in the Mokopane Magistrate’s Court on a charge of stock theft today (Friday).

Provincial Police Spokesperson Moatshe Ngoepe said the suspects were arrested during a joint operation by the Mokopane Stock Theft Unit and Crime Intelligence Unit yesterday (Thursday).

“Ten live goats and a vehicle used to transport the animals were confiscated. Investigations continue,” Ngoepe said.
