A police helicopter was spotted doing what seemed like a patrol in areas in the city such as Ladanna, Seshego and Penina Park on Wednesday.
POLOKWANE – This has led to some residents feeling slightly on edge as to what exactly it was that the police were looking for or if it might have just simply been a routine patrol.
According to Limpopo Police Spokesperson, Brig Motlafela Mojapelo, residents have nothing to worry about.
“It was just a routine operation we conducted for the festive season. The helicopter patrols was the last phase of the operation. We will conduct similar operations in the near future,” Mojapelo said.
