Review spoke to the driver of the truck who said after making a turn at a set of traffic lights in the Central Business District (CBD) this morning, he noticed the oil buckets moving to the side. When he turned into Fosfaat Street, most of the oil spilled on the street.

“I knew something was wrong when I saw the buckets leaning to the side. That’s when I decided to turn into this road (Fosfaat Street) to move out of the way for other cars because I noticed that some buckets were leaking onto the road,” he explained.

A traffic official was on scene.
