The adage says the road to the heart goes through the stomach and Harvest Grill & Wine at Meropa Casino and Entertainment World embraces this wisdom.
To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Chef John Sadie and his team prepared a special table for Polokwane Observer.
He prepared chicken Italiano, roasted chicken breast stuffed with sun dried tomatoes, basil and feta. Potato fondant, butternut puree and green beans all drizzled with lemon butter accompanied the chicken. For dessert Sadie made crème brûlée with beautiful chocolate coral and friandise. The meal was complemented by a delicious cocktail called Pink Fairy Bubbles.
Harvest Grill & Wine will serve a buffet for R220 per person and R400 per couple on Valentine’s Day. The first 100 couples will receive a romantic gift. The buffet will be open from 18:00 until 22:00.
