Jeppe College boiler making students receive unique opportunity

Jeppe College Polokwane has formed a unique partnership with local trailer manufacturing company, South African Trailers & Bodies (Satra) where students will benefit from practical experience and mentoring from the experts at this enterprise.
College officials Thys Pretorius, Jeppe College Polokwane Principal, Walter Masela, Campus Manager for Engineering Studies, and Theresa Ngobeni, Lecturer, recently signed a memorandum of understanding with SJ van der Merwe, Chief Executive Officer of Satra, in Polokwane.
The memorandum stipulates that boiler making students of Jeppe College Polokwane will visit the Satra workshop in Industria to observe demonstrations by workshop personnel. Here they will be able to identify the different tools and their application in building trailer bodies.
Satra has also agreed to consider exceptional students for practical training an internships.
