POLOKWANE – Human Rights Day is one of the most important public holidays in the country, highlighting the sacrifices that accompanied the struggle for the attainment of democracy in South Africa.

While every child is taught about their basic human rights at school, it is still important for them to know why this day is celebrated across the country.

With this in mind, Review recently visited Bet-Shalom Christian School where we spoke to learners from Gr R to Gr 4 asking them what they know about their Human Rights and their thoughts on them.
