The second Raspberry Pi beginners’ course, using Python as its coding language, was completed at Edupark recently with two students receiving certificates.
The enthusiasm was evident in the innovative ways that students applied the knowledge acquired during the course.
Adri Williams, Programme Manager at Edupark said in a media release Thapelo Machala, a Grade 11 learner from Hoërskool Noorderland was keen to hook up HDMI cables and extended screens while accessing his Raspberry Pi remotely.
Francois van Wyk, Grade 9 learner at Curro Heuwelkruin was filled with excitement and intent on building a weather station based on the Raspberry Pi principles.
Both students will join the previous group to complete the Raspberry Pi beginners’ course in advancing to the intermediate course.
