Local TATA and FAW dealer, Imperial Commercials donated 23 sport bags to Hoër Tegniese Skool Tom Naudé’s u.15A and u.16A rugby teams last Friday.
Wendy Marx, Imperial Commercials Dealer Principal said while this was their first donation to a school the company is very active in the community. She explained that this was a way of showing appreciation to their loyal customers while at the same time giving the company exposure.
“We are willing to assist more schools in the province and all they have to do is submit a proposal. While submitting a proposal does not guarantee sponsorship we will definitely look into it and respond,” she stated.
Dries Eksteen, a rugby coach at the school, said teams cannot play without sponsorship. He expressed delight with Imperial Commercials’ reaching out a helping hand to the school. He thanked the company for the sponsorship and said the bags will motivate their players to work even harder to attract potential sponsors. He further said these two rugby teams play exceptionally well and all the players are committed and keen to learn new things.
