Decomposed body of missing mother (75) found by passerby

Kutama Thali (75) went reported missing over a week ago.

LIMPOPO – The body of missing mother Kutama Thali (75), was found yesteerday (Wednesday) afternoon, said the police.

According to a statement issued by Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Motashe Ngoepe, as passerby made the discovery while passing bushes at Munjesi area outside Makhado.

“The body was found in a state of decomposition and a post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.”

He added that no fowl play is suspected at this stage and the police request the local community to remain calm and the police space to investigate further.

An inquest docket was opened and police investigations continue.


LIMPOPO –  Thali who resides at Vleifontein area in  Munzhedzi village was reported missing after she disappeared during the evening on Saturday, 22 April.

According to Police Spokesperson, Lt Col Moatshe Ngoepe, it is alleged she had an argument with her daughter during which she threatened to leave.

The following morning when the daughter woke up her mother was missing, however all her belongings where still in their place in the house, said Ngoepe.

Thali was last seen wearing a blue dress, pink and blue lumber jacket and a black skirt.
