POLOKWANE – The municipality says electricity in the area and surroundings, including Ga Rena, is still off.
“The cable blew up in different spots when switched on last night. However, the cables feeding industrial area have been repaired,” the municipality said in an update statement.
It says repairs are expected to take up to four hours or less for this cable to be sorted.
The municipality apologised for the inconvenience caused.

POLOKWANE – According to a statement by the Municipality, cables feeding the Ladanna area, including GaRena, were accidentally damaged during construction.
It says it would take up to three hours for electricity to be restored and that technicians are doing whatever possible to ensure the downtime is lessened.
