Taxila Secondary flaunts newly designed uniform

The learners say that they wanted to stand out from the crowd and look completely different from the other schools in Polokwane.

POLOKWANE – In a bid to be as different as possible, and not conform to the norm, Taxila Secondary School’s Gr 12 learners designed, and are flaunting, a smart albeit funky school uniform.

The learners say that they wanted to stand out from the crowd and look completely different from the other schools in Polokwane. Head girl, Mmanare Nkoana, said that their uniform is eye-catching, which is exactly what they wanted to achieve when designing it.

“We are doing well so far in our mid-year exams and we hope for a 100% pass rate at the end of the year so that our school can be ranked one of the top best performing schools in the province,” she added.

Gr 12 learners, Oupa Machaka and Lesedi Mothapo, look presentably funky in their Gr 12 uniform.
